Supermassive Games’ latest cinematic horror adventure Man of Medan now lets you enjoy the story with friends, even if they don’t have a copy.
The new Friends’ Pass lets you share the game with others for a limited time. When it arrives, everyone who buys the game before January 6 will get a complimentary pass. It’s good for a full playthrough of Shared Story Mode with a friend who doesn’t have their own copy. Anyone who already does own the game will be able to use the pass as well.
Shared Story Mode is an online version of the game that lets two players experience the game’s story together.
Speaking of the story, here’s the official synopsis:
“The Dark Pictures Anthology is a series of stand-alone, branching cinematic horror games that can also be played online with a friend. In Man of Medan, five friends set sail on a holiday diving trip that soon changes into something much more sinister.”
If you enjoyed what Supermassive Games’ previous title Until Dawn had to offer, you’ll love Man of Medan. They’re a lot different in terms of tone, but the same choice-driven gameplay persists.
For those with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game, using the pass is simple. They need to just download the Man of Medan Free Trial. Steam owners will need to have their friends redeem a key. The game owner will have to then invite the friend to their own game.
It’s a great way to ensure players get to share the game with their friends. Have you tried out Man of Medan yet? Be sure to let us know!
